Had a gathering with one of our overseas friend at the Star Vista outlet. Started with a try of their refreshing drinks that will perk you up after a day at work-gummy bear (cotton candy drink, for the sweet tooth), cala cala (lemon & calamasi) & tropical breeze (pineapple & citrus mocktail, can imagine you are in hawaii).
Ordered a few of their signature dishes. Grilled gala platter with grilled prawns, fish, herb mussels(my fav) served with rice & greens- a must have for gathering cos it looks pretty grand with mst of the seafood in it. Caesar salad with white bait-crispy & crunchy white baits brings out the taste of the fresh greens. Its a good combi for none veggie lovers. Side dishes include cheesy chips for cheese lovers & quad delight- a mixture of fried calamari rings, country mushroom, chilled seafood mix & refreshing cranberry coleslaw.
Ended with desserts. The sinful manhattan mudpie- consist of dark chocolate that doesn’t make it too sweet & the not too bad sizzling warm brownie with icecream.
