Ji De Chi Desserts

Happiness is having yummy desserts with your family & friends during the weekend!
A long time favourite dessert shop-Ji De Chi, 记得吃甜品.
I like their very nicely hand drawn painted wall which gives a slight nostalgic and warm feel.
One of my family’s favourite are the sesame paste 芝麻糊, roasted black sesame are grounded to paste form. We prefer it served hot. You can have it chilled as well. There’s also almond paste and peanut paste, favoured by the senior generation. You can choose to mix almond with the sesame paste, call yuan yang 鸳鸯. Be surprised by the combination! The egg drop chestnut paste is delicious, not too sweet and lightly flavoured with chopped chestnuts and eggs stirred over the paste while its cooking. Not fogetting the all time favourite mango sago pomelo. But this time i tried a slightly different combination, mango sago pomelo with herbal jelly. Not too bad-the slight bitterness of the herbal jelly is not masked by the mango puree. They also served differernt flavours of the snow ice-a tradition taiwan dessert, glutinous rice roll with durian or mango as well as some traditional chinese snacks like pumpkin cake and yam cake.
It is located at Jurong Point SC, level 2.
Have a try and share with us, which are your favourites 🙂
