Happiness is having yummy food wif great company 🙂
Satified my craving for korean food last week.
Side dishes include the traditional kimchi white cabbage & radish, mashed potatoes, peanuts with anchioves, bean sprouts, fish cakes with carrots, and fresh greens of lettuce, carrots & cucumber sticks. The mildly spicy kimchi & radish goes well with the plain porridge they served together with the side dishes.
Tried a few dishes that we thought were nice.
– Spicy kimchi stew: its spicy but shiok. Goes well with the steam rice they serve together with the steeam rice. Super like this kimchi stew. (Pls bring tissues as you will most likely sweat a lot after this soup)
– Soybean paste stew with seafood: taste like miso soup with a tinge of spiciness from the green chilli in it. Goes well with the steamed rice as well. Yummy!
– Spicy rice cakes with seafood: we omited the prawns from the list as my two other friends are allegic to prawns. Not really very spicy, you can eat it on its own & enjoy the chew-iness (or qq) of the rice cakes. Oh and they added an egg too, we were a little suprised though!
– Bbq spicy chicken: also mildly spicy. The greens on top of it adds a crunch to it.
If you like korean food and you have a kid with you, you can try this korean restaurant as they have non spicy food which is child friendly. It is located at Takashimaya shopping centre #05-29. Reservation hotline 67339151. Did i mention the cute pair of figurines outside the restaurant-its so cute!
