Yes, you are not seeing things, its durian chocolate- durian praline dark chocolate with crunchy cereals. Its the first time i heard of this special combination. Thank you to hemelzs chocolat for giving us the chance to do this review.
I am a fan of dark chocolate. The smooth dark chocolate coating gives a slight bitter taste to welcome the fragrant durian filling inside. It melts slowly in your mouth with the fragrant combination of both the dark chocolate and durian filling-both have their unique taste that does not overshadow each other. Crunchy cereals are revealed at the end, feels like coco pops 🙂
I couldn’t resist a second piece whereby i pop the whole durian chocolate into my mouth and chew it. Its a different experience altogether. I like the crunchiness from the cereals that reminds me that having chocolates is not sinful afterall 🙂 Cereals make up 40% of the dietary fibre in this chocolate. Come to think of it, which other chocolate gives you dietary fibre? No. This might be the only one. And there’s zero trans fat, no preservatives, no colouring or artificial flavours in this product. Dark chocolate is rich in anti-oxidant as well. With so much goodness, I can safely say its a healthier choice of chocolate.
Its also suitable for our multi-racial society in SG as its halal certified.
