Saw this special store there~ very unique so we decided to give it a try.
I did not have a chance to try the real store in penang~ But I hope I will have the chance someday!

Everything seems so new in this store.
Very nice and clean environment.
Its inside the “Inner City” of the mall.

Waiting time was long even though its a weekday with not many people. I’m suppose they are all new, thats the main reason.

We decided to order their Assam laksa, penang curry mee, rojak plus drinks (ice white coffee and ice milk tea) we ordered D1-3 on the menu.

The food smell nice when served but it turns cold already. I believe if its being served while its still hot, the food will taste even nicer especially the Assam Laska~

I’m not impressed with the curry mee though. All I can say is cold and diluted. Rojak very small serving (around a girl’s small palm size) taste wise still ok with lots of crushed penuts and having Guava and cuttlefish inside is a plus point.

Assam laksa though not alot of ingredients inside ( mostly spices and dried shrimp ) but I can say it tastes good. Just wish it can be hot, it will for sure taste even better.
Ended up we decided to order another bowl of Assam Laksa~ this time, before it turns cold at the counter, we decided to bring it over ourselves. And true enough, it tastes much much better and this time the soup is even richer. Not sure if its due to lack of quality control? Or different chef to prepare? Or because we ate it when its still hot.

Drinks wise:
they serve the drinks in a small paper cup.
For the milk tea, I cant taste any sweetness in it. Not sure if that is the standard or the person who prepared it forget to put something.
For the white coffee it tastes normal and not sweet as well.

We should have ordered Chendul instead of the 2 drinks. We will go back and try it next time!

Overall still a good and relaxing place to have your meals. Nice environment~ just that the service there is very slow. I am not sure hows the crowd and the standards during busy weekends though.
