Mak’s Noodles

Happiness is sharing yummy food with people!

Mak’s Noodles originates from Hong Kong and they recently opened their first outlet in Westgate mall.

If you are craving for traditional wanton noodles from Hong Kong, then this is the place you have to go to.

Had wanted to try their wanton noodles but it only comes with soup and not dry. So we tried the dry dumpling noodles, dry minced meat noodles and the always famous hong kong Tang Zai(pronouce in cantonese) congee.

The noodles are served with oyster sauce and looks thinner than those i have before in Hong Kong. Taste wise is pretty similar. The dumplings are made of one whole prawn, mushrooms and bamboo shoot. Love the soup the most, as it tasted exactly the same as what i had before in HK.

The sauce for the minced pork noodles is juzt right and tasty as well.

Love the tang zai congee with sliced fish, fish maw, fried peanuts, cuttlefish etc as the ingredients.

I feel like i am in Hong Kong already! Yummy food. But its a bit warm at the restaurant and it will be wiser to be seated inside rather than outside.

Do try Mak’s Noodles if you are in the west area.

Mak’s Noodles is located at Level 2. Directly accessible from Jurong East MRT Station J-Walk linkway.
