Wa cafe (渡邊珈琲店)

Happiness is having an impromptu nice dinner with frens and family.

I always pass by this cafe if I’m in Chinatown point, which is near to my office. But never had a chance to go in and try the food. As a japanese  food lover, this is one of the places I told myself that one day I will like to try it out. Last night, we were looking for a place to have dinner  … And decided to give it a try.

You can easily spot this cafe if you are coming up from the chinatown point mrt exit. And it is next to uniqlo 🙂 The interior of the cafe is tastefully done with 2 different types of seat setting, comfy couches or armchairs.

Wa cafe serves a authentic yōshoku (洋食) menu and japanese style desserts and freshly brewed coffee.

I was late and the rest were seated when I arrived thus don’t have a chance to read thru the menu. But of course the OMU Rice Demi-Glace Sauce immediately caught my attention, thus I ordered that 🙂

It was served fast and hot in sizzling flat pan. I love omu rice. And glad that this omu rice tasted similar to what I have tried in Japan before. Everyone enjoyed their order … Each spend around $16+

Next time will go back again to try the rest of the desserts and drinks as they all look so appetizing 🙂

Nice cosy ambience – and they don’t charge service charge and provide free wifi and charging ports 🙂 20140801-150839-54519641.jpg

You can simply look at the food models outside the cafe and see what to order … a typical japanese cool way of presenting what they offer in the cafe

Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Spending
some time and actual effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I put things off a
lot and never seem to get anything done.
